Chevy Chase’s 1985 hit “Fletch” was immediately adored by countless audiences who adored Chase’s portrayal of the hilarious mystery adventure. Audiences today will have the same pleasure of adoring Jon Hamm’s version of the incredible tale. “Writing mysteries lets me get away with murder.” Gregory Mcdonald, the author of Fletch said. “I think ‘the mystery’ may be the greatest form for social criticism, simply because it is pedestrian.”
Gregory isn’t the only one trying to get away with Murder, especially in this tale. We find Fletch, played wonderfully by Hamm, investigating a case of valuable stolen paintings. However, things are going to soon take a turn for the endlessly charming Fletch, as he becomes the prime suspect in a murder. Proving his innocence should be easy, but to do so he must sift through a long list of unlikely suspects, ranging from an art dealer to a missing playboy to a crazy neighbor, and even his own girlfriend. The movie is both edge of your seat intriguing and insanely funny, and the whole cast delivers a stunning performance that will be loved for ages. We sat down with the cast of Fletch to talk all about the new film! Check out the full conversation below.
