Suede Jury Shares his ‘Outrage’ [Video]

Suede Jury returns from a short hiatus to bust a machine gun flow over an airy beat that does all it can to shift focus onto his lyrics and the weight they carry.

The track “Outrage” produced by TaeOne has a simplicity in it’s instrumentation that, coupled with Suede’s strong poetry, harkens to Gil Scott’s Small Talk at 125th and Lenox. The content, socially and personally conscious, does not reflect the attitude of an untouchable activist but of a soldier marching in rank. The flow also deserves attention. Suede comes in with a tone like Guru and a rhythm reminiscent of RA The Rugged Man. It’s in this mixed capsule that he delivers  a message asking everyone who is silent in lack of expression or action to make a change.

This track is a clear glimpse into Suede’s upcoming project Soul Sophisticate, which he states is tailored to art students and people who love Hip Hop with the intensity the genre deserves. Essentially most Heads will have no reason not to love the record. This along with his new art collective (Say Something Worth Something), which focuses on bring artists who focus on depth and quality, is enough incentive to watch for whatever comes out of this emcee’s headspace.
