Slum Village’s Young RJ Shares New Song, “The Detroit Project”

Before Slum Village heads out on tour in support of their 20th Anniversary ‘The Lost Tape Vol.2’. Detroit breakout Young RJ drops off a brand new single paying homage to his inner-city with support from Phat Kat and Guilty Simpson, titled, “The Detroit Project”.

“I messed with Phat Kat and Guilty because they carry a pedigree in Detroit, we all talkin about my nig**s struggling here in tha D, living in modern America is like hell for a man of color..”

“The Detroit Project” follows up RJ’s new album, ‘The Blaq Royalty’. The new project features guest appearances by Pete Rock, Joyner Lucas, BJ The Chicago Kid & Boldy James. RJ and Slum Village hit the road this June and will be embarking on an overseas touring by the end of the year.
