Skullcandy Presents Third Annual StayLoud Concert

This Thursday the Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory hosted Skullcandy’s third music series and it was everything music fans have been wanting.

ur bands- Small Talk, July Talk, and Owl blessed the stage with back to back tunes that left the crowd energized and the ground shaking. We caught up with members of Poeta and Small Talk, below, to find out more on their upcoming projects, and tour dates:

Poeta, on their favorite tracks to perform:

Kevin: For me it’s “Golden Fields,” it’s the title track off our debut album Golden Fields. I always feel the need to really let loose during that song, so that’s always my favorite to play.

Sean: Probably “Green and Blue.” Every time I play a set it’s usually that song that I’m most amped for.

Anthony: I’m going to go with our song “Heaven” or “Closer,” it always hits real close to home.

George: Yeah between “Heaven” and “Golden Fields,” it’s always really great on the energy from everyone.

Sean: We’re currently in the early stages of developing our next album but it’s currently in the prenatal stage

George: We just released our debut album like two months ago so we are in the writing process currently maybe release a couple singles in the future who knows with this album but that’s probably on our agenda for right now.

Upcoming tours:

“We have a tour possibly coming up that we can’t dish out too many details on but we’ll probably be going up and down the East Coast. Sometime in July or August we’re going to go Southeast through the Carolinas and Texas.”

Small Talks, on their favorite tracks to perform:

Cayle: I was super excited to play New York City because that’s usually a crowd favorite. It’s just a happy song. It’s like our only super happy song.

Tyler: I was super excited about dancers just because of the past pace-ness, and it gave us room to jump around and get the crowd jumping

Justin: I play drums so I like all the songs

On Upcoming Projects

“We’re working on writing a new album, and we’re in the writing process.”

On Tour Dates:

“We’re actually finishing up our tour now, so we went up to New York then we’re going back to perform in Virginia after.
