On The Scene: Uno The Activist ‘Live.Shyne.Die’ Release party

Electric Circus hosted a release party for Uno The Activist’s anticipated mixtape “Live.Shyne.Die” at Vintage New York Lifestyle.

The Atlanta rapper’s fans have been waiting for this project for a while and to hold them over, he dropped a four track EP on SoundCloud at the end of August titled Sorry For The Wait.

The two DJ’s, Odalys and DJ Nolita, played some of Uno’s music before he arrived to see how familiar the crowd was with his music. Playing songs such as “What” with his cousin Playboi Carti and “Both Ways” got the crowd hype in anticipation to hear the mixtape. When Uno got there, he thanked some of the people that helped him on Live.Shyne.Die and started playing songs off the tape. Rapping to some of the songs and telling the crowd where the songs’ inspiration came from. He didn’t play the full 17 track mixtape but played a good amount that was able to please the crowd and it seemed like he delivered the music his fans were seeking on this project.

Live.Shyne.Die has some notable features on this tape such as Kodie Shane, Famous Dex, Trippie Redd and Lil Duke who’s on two songs on the project. Some of the early favorites from the project are, “Wake Up”, “Day Dream”, “Fabo”, “Top Me?” and “Things I Brought”.
