On The Scene: The Roots Picnic Afterparty Hosted By Mark Kelley

We got the exclusive on The Roots Picnic after party

The Roots Picnic has been an annual tradition in the city of Philadelphia since 2008. This past weekend was filled with music festivals and after parties including the first ever Meadows festival and Roots’ Picnic in New York. Saturday was the second day of The Roots Picnic featuring talents like Wu-tang Clan, Swizz Beats, Lil Uzi and Bibi Bourelly.

Following The Roots Picnic in Bryant Park on Saturday Night we headed over to the W hotel for the exclusive after party.  Held at The Living Room in Times Square, the after party was lit with bottle service and drinks sponsored by Absolut Elyx and Lion & Lamb Communications. The Roots Mark Kelley hosted the event and took part in the festivities as his band mate, fellow Roots member Rahzel was beat boxing for a majority of the night providing fresh beats for the turn up. Friends and family gathered to celebrate another great year and the first ever Roots Picnic in NYC.
