On The Scene: Maino’s ‘Party & Pain’ Album Listening

Hustle Hard Entertainment held a listening party for Maino’s upcoming album Party & Pain at the 40/40 Club.

This is his latest project since Some Women Are Realer Than Men EP, which he released earlier this year in March. Maino has been in the music industry for over a decade and the anticipation behind this project was able to draw some notable faces in the industry to attend his listening party. Some of these people included, DJ Vlad, Consequence, DJ Drewski and Uncle Murda who came out and showed their support for Maino. Having support from fellow artists and industry figures, shows Maino’s longevity in his career.

Maino began the listening party by presenting his music video for the song “Family” that’s on his album. The video set the tone for the album listening and it was able to show the space Maino was in when making this album. The video showed him at a house party by the pool with his close friends and people that he considers his family. He seemed to be in a positive space since the music video showed him enjoying his life with his friends. This positive tone continues in songs such as “God Bless” and “Let Me Be Great”. In his 16-song project he describes the pros and cons of his success, as he wanted to tell his fans about the pain he’s endured during his musical journey. Learning a lot about people around him and the industry by being a product of the music industry, but after having experienced it, he’s adjusted and learned from it and now can move forward. Party & Pain is available to stream on all platforms on October 17th.
