On the Scene: FUJIFILM Launches New Instax Square SQ10

On Wednesday, May 17th, FUJIFILM celebrated the launch of its new hybrid Instax Square SQ10 at Bathhouse Studios in NYC’s Lower East Side.

From the moment you entered the event, you were surrounded by a square-inspired wonderland – filled with secret bars and surprise activities, including a mirrored funhouse. Guests also had the chance to test out FUJIFILM’s first-ever built-in filter, which was a huge hit for pretty much everyone who had a chance to try it.

DJ D-Nice entertained the crowd throughout most of the night, as well as a performance from the platinum-selling pop band, AJR. With mazes sprinkled throughout the venue, dancing ladies on colorful stilts, and sporadic magician acts around every corner, the night was a multi-dimensional experience of art, film, design and tech.

The new INSTAX Square SQ10 is a hybrid instant film and digital camera, with a technology that allows you to preview and edit photos on a 3” LCD screen before printing them out. With a built-in flash, you can also choose from a selection of 10 different filters to be applied to any photo. My favorite part about the INSTAX Square SQ10 is that it’s rechargeable with a standard USB cable, which makes it super low-fuss and easy to use on-the-go. Its internal memory saves up to 50 images, or save to a micro SD card, which is included in the purchase.

Overall, the launch of the INSTAX Square SQ10 was a success – a memorable night with a personal touch for every guest.
