In celebration of Women’s month, Awe Inspired opened a spiritual wellness destination on the iconic Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Founded in 2018 by three-time cancer survivor Jill Johnson and her son Max to make meaningful gifts and tokens of strength has quickly dominated the booming spiritual wellness category and has become a symbol of empowerment for hundreds of thousands all over the world. The celebrity loved brand partnered with the Iranian Diaspora Collective to release a special edition item that was revealed at the event. Guests including actress Jodie Sweetin, TV host Sibley Scoles, actor/musician Andrew Matarazzo, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Kerri Colby, influencer Vince Rossi and many more came out to show their support.

The intimate grand opening showcased the finely crafted, ethically sourced, alternative base metals and brass free jewelry. “We strive to raise inner strength, celebrate diversity, spread feminism, and advocate for social justice every day. And bring a little more beauty into the world with storied jewelry that will inspire awe for generations.” Guests also enjoyed drinks by Ghia, hand rolled cannabis by Drew Martin, and delicious vegan ice cream by Awan as they mingled and got acquainted. Founders Moj Mahdara and Roya Rastegar of Iranian Diaspora Collective, a non-partisan, multi faith group that is inclusive of multiple backgrounds, gender, and LGBTQIA+ identity thanked the crowd saying, “thank you for being so beautiful tonight, thank you for supporting this amazing, lovely brand and this project,” before Grammy nominated artist Sabrina Claudio serenaded attendees with an intimate performance.
