Loosey LaDuca: I was walking my dog Rocco. He is my favorite creature on the planet other than Rupaul. And ironically enough, I was walking in front of the elementary school I used to go to. And they called me and said I was cast. And I went, ‘No…’. And I just screamed, ‘No! There’s more to the process!’ It was like I was convincing them to not cast me.
The Knockturnal: What was it like meeting Rupaul for the first time?
Loosey LaDuca: It was incredible. It’s been so incredible to watch Rupaul for my entire life. And then to see her in person, it was shocking to see how tall she is. I am wearing heels and big hair and she is towers over me.
The Knockturnal: Ariana Grande was the celebrity guest judge for the premiere! What was it like meeting her? And was it giving Arianeeee or Ariankaaaa?
Loosey LaDuca: So it was giving Arianeeee. It was incredible. It was like meeting the opposite of Rupaul because she is like 2 feet tall.
