‘Rob & Big’ Star Christopher Boykin Has Passed

Boykin died this past Tuesday, at the age of 45.

The musician and entertainer passed away on Tuesday morning. There is no news on the cause of the death, but it is rumored that he may have suffered a heart attack. Boykin is well known for appearing on his MTV reality show ‘Rob & Big’ with his best friend and pro skateboarder, Rob Dydrek. The show aired from 2006 to 2008, but Boykin often appeared on some of Dydrek’s other shows including Rob Dydrek’s Fantasy Factory. Many of his closest friends and colleagues have sent out their condolences. Dydrek took to twitter to send out his condolences and remember some of his favorite moments with Boykins. “We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can’t fathom that it would end so suddenly” Dydrek tweeted on Tuesday. He also tweeted an image of Boykins holding his son, captioned “I am so thankful for this moment… thank you for being an amazing human being and brother.” Boykin was also remembered by many fans, a large percentage who were skateboarders.

The TV star is survived by his 9-year-old daughter.
