Ribs, Wings & Things – A new dining concept that’s redefining the takeout and delivery space

From the people behind Brazilian Steakhouse, Rainhas Churrascaria,  comes an idea born during COVID-19 when everything was closed and people were home having to cook up their own food to satisfy their cravings.

This innovative Latin Barbeque-inspired idea, featuring mascots Pudge Pancho and Coco Loco, is the brainchild of the Rainhas Churrascaria team. It’s designed to address the increasing challenges of inflation and the high cost of living by providing the local community with affordable, yet high-quality and delicious food options.

What sets them apart from other restaurants that offer Wings on their menu is…ribs. If you go out there looking for BBQ ribs you won’t find a lot of options. 70% of their consumer base are Hispanic, that’s why they have catered their ingredients to satisfy that palette.

While they have a variety of interesting and delicious flavors, some highlights are the fiery (inspired by your tried and true Taki chips) and the Pineapple Habanero, a version of the basic Mango Habenero out there (for the spice lovers). They have a ton of sides to choose from that act as the perfect accompaniment to the wings and ribs.

Wings come in both bone-in and boneless options, offering a canvas for eight distinctive flavors of sauce and dry rubs. Others include, Lemon Pepper, and Buffalo. For a crunchy experience, customers can opt for the double-fried Korean-style wings. Once you’ve made your choice, you can further customize the experience by selecting from a variety of house-made sauces, such as Creamichurri (a creamy take on Chimichurri), homemade Chipotle Aioli, Ranch, and Blue Cheese.

Now for the main event, the pork ribs are slow-cooked and coated in the customer’s choice of three sauces or dry rubs. These include Pineapple Habanero, Homemade BBQ, and Mexican Dry Rub (A restaurant favorite).

After choosing from ribs, wings, or a combination of both, you can enhance the meal with a selection of BBQ-inspired or Latin sides. Options include made-to-order onion rings, crispy fried green plantains, golden French fries, coleslaw, or rice and beans.

Each of these were extremely flavorful and a delight to the tastebuds.

They are looking to get the word out for these delicious Wings, Ribs & Things and while only open for a few weeks, they already have people going back for more.

Ribs, Wings, & Things is located at 108-01 Northern Boulevard, Queens, NY 11368 and is open Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturday 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Takeout & delivery only.
