The footwear and apparel store,Reebok, has been the champion of a global female-led brand campaign.
The campaign focuses on women being the drivers of change. With a group of powerful, influential women like Gigi Hadid, Gal Gadot and Nina Dobrev this initiative has donated millions of dollars to charities.
Nina Dobrev and Reebok got guests together to donate in sweat, this sweat was produced through a high intensity, energetic, super fun dance workout. Our sweat on the dancefloor meant $100 were donated to a female-focused charity. The Les Mills bodyjam workout was lead by fit, motivating, body positive women who encouraged the audience to let loose and really feel all the moves.
Some slogans that decorated the large space important to take note of were:
“We have nothing to lose by facing our fears, but everything to if we don’t”
“Confidence has no competition”
“Harness your own power”
In our chic yet comfortable Reebok gear, the energy in the space was infectious. Thus, helping fuel that power and uplift each other in a unified, safe “women only” space.
Les Mills forced amateur dancers to step out of their comfort zone, it acted as an inspiration for women to be free and get out of their minds by not worrying about how they are perceived. It was a positive atmosphere where the tone was set before the workout began, where Nina discussed with the audience why her involvement in this movement is so important to her. This importance lays in the fostering of confidence and a healthy attitude towards working out in different sweat inducing ways!
The post-workout party was catered by The Butcher’s Daughter restaurant on the location’s rooftop that offered a great view of the Hudson River.
