Flying high off his epic Super Bowl win, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback came out to celebrate a victory for the team and the loyal community of Emerald City at Raising Cane’s newest location.
Days before the location opens doors, Darnold worked a time-honored “shift” alongside founder and owner Todd Graves. The historical NFL win was celebrated during a thrilling event that saw over a thousand fans line up to see the champion serve up Chicken Fingers and the best secret sauce in the world.

“The past couple days have been great and it’s surreal to be here at Cane’s today,” said the Super Bowl champ who was all smiles as his eyes glistened at the sights and sounds of the fans who kept joyfully chanting his name.
“Seattle is a community of hard workers and that’s what I come from – my mom was a teacher, and my dad was a plumber. The community cares so much for this team and we always try to do our best and put our best foot forward for the city and these fans. I’m so happy to have this win for them.”

The day was special for sports fandom as much as the lovers of the famous Chicken Fingers. It seemed as if the entire city came out to cheer on the divine day that also saw the likes of football players from the University of Washington, including Rahim Wright III, Rahshawn Clark, Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, CJ Christian, D’Aryhian Clemons and Parker Cross.

Darnold under Graves’ guidance worked in the kitchen as both Fry Cook and Cashier, making hand-battered, cooked-to-order Chicken Fingers, house-made Cane’s Sauce, premium crinkle-cut fries, buttery Cane’s Toast and coleslaw. He bagged orders, filled drinks and called out Box Combo orders alongside Graves as the duo served fans who were eager to taste their first-ever Craveable Chicken Finger Meals®.

The delicious joy of the day was hard to ignore as guests got their yummy on. Sports lovers also embraced the bliss as he took time to greet fans, pose for selfies and sign autographs. His humble pride was captivating and fit the essence of the day perfectly.
Before heading off to preparations for today’s Super Bowl champion parade in Seattle, the football hero spoke from the heart and thanked the thousand fans outside for coming to celebrate a victory with him.
