Raf Simons & Dior: A Reflection in Time

We all watched Raf in “Dior and I” as he succeeded in embracing the rive droite legacy of the iconic maison. Regardless of the reason why the Belgian creative mastermind behind Dior’s womenswear decided to part ways after very profitable three years, and extraordinary acceptance by critics, we couldn’t help but reminisce on our favorite Raf looks and romantic settings.

Fall 2012 Couture – The one that started it all. The pioneer in flower walls and Raf’s first haute couture collection.

Fall 2014 Couture – A true mystical winter land with royal-like ball gowns.

Haute Couture fall 2015 – Beads, embroidery, appliqué & electric blue thigh high boots: the perfect mix of girly and femme fatale.

Pret-a-Porter SS16 the 59-foot flower mountain that featured 300,000 delphinium stems was not only all over the news but all over our hearts. Who didn’t dream of being part of the fairy wonderland set, and of wearing this scallop cropped top set?

Pret-a-Porter SS14 – The contrast between the classic black pieces and subtle beauty with the colors of the flowers made us think if we could pull of the Robyn style look on the right.
