Previews Begin For ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’

Rather than hearing about the usual release of a typical two-act play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the new original play-play written by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany

The two-play show is now in its first of previews tonight at the Palace Theatre London, ahead of the official opening of the show which is scheduled for July 30th 2016.

The story is presented in two dynamic and suspenseful plays which are meant to be seen consecutively. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter installment and is the first official Harry Potter story to be played on the stage. Harry Potter (who is now a father of three and head Aura of the Ministry of Magic) battles a remerging dark past that continues to pop up in places where his family would never expect and all the while his younger son, Albus Severus, dips and dodges in and out of his father’s past glory.

Albus Severus’ struggles to fully peel away Harry Potter’s  famous triumph (of- SHHHHH- He Who Shall Not Be Named…)from his own identity. The two magical souls (father and son) embark on a journey that can cause even the greatest wizard of all time to walk on egg shells.

Rowling’s new original play sold out within hours of opening online ticket booking and the show is completely sold out until May 27th, 2017. Don’t despair, however! Each at , the Pottermore Website will release forty tickets for the following week’s show.
