We’re only one week away from experiencing what will be another epic season of one of the best electronic festivals, DGTL Barcelona!
Beginning at 3 PM on Friday the 10th of August at Parc Del Fòrum, hundreds from all over will come together in this celebration of music, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it.
If you are into techno and you’re a festival enthusiast such as myself, then you have probably heard of DGTL. DGTL originated in Amsterdam in 2013 and branched out to share their innovative ideas with the Barcelona crowd in 2015, it has been since a huge hit and keeps getting better and better with every new year of experience.
DGTL is not your common festival for many reasons. Their goal is to create a unique experience for the attendees by mixing technological innovations and art into their stages and set ups, giving it an industrial feel. Their creativeness is inspired by consciousness, making them advocates for the well-being of the environment and implementing sustainable technology in their events that lessens the pollution of the planet (such as solar panels). On top of this, they are mindful of everyone’s eating preferences which is why they will also be including gluten-free menus and it’ll all be BIO.
Even though DGTL is a known festival, they always try to balance out their lineups between big names in the techno scene and that fresh new talent everyone craves to discover. In the 2 days of duration, we will be seeing incredible DJs such as Solomun, Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Amelie Lens, Hot Since 82, amongst many others play in the four different stages. Both Friday and Saturday will begin at 3 PM and end a 3 AM, 12 beautiful hours to appreciate the talent and the crowd each day!
