Pier-Side Paradise: Cobble Fish at South Street Seaport

On Wednesday, June 26th, Cobble Fish kicked off the summer with an unforgettable party at their stunning waterfront spot on Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport. The evening greeted guests with clear skies and warm temperatures, setting the perfect stage for a summer celebration. Nestled between the historic Lightship Ambrose and Wavetree vessels, the location offered guests spectacular waterfront views amidst maritime history.

Cobble Fish, renowned for its delectable seafood and refreshing cocktails, did not disappoint. Guests savored a variety of delicious dishes, including the Calm Seas Lobster Roll, Baja Fish Tacos, and Buoy Burgers. A standout was The Big Dog, a foot-long hotdog wrapped in bacon and topped with mango salsa, mustard, and pico de gallo. This special menu item, paired with a complimentary beer, will be a highlight at their July 4th day party, perfect for those craving something hearty.

Complementing the fantastic food was a selection of delightful summer cocktails. Highlights included the Fish Lips, made with Maker’s Mark, elderflower, fresh lemon, and agave, and the Impossible Girl, featuring Grey Goose peach, Cointreau, lime, and cranberry. The drink menu also featured a variety of margaritas, wines, and beers, capturing the essence of summer. DJ LX Fed kept the energy high with a mix of nostalgic millennial hits and today’s chart-toppers, adding to the vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of NYC from the ’80s through the 2000s.

The Summer Party at Cobble Fish was a perfect opportunity for guests to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy the stunning river views in a lively and welcoming setting. For those planning to visit, Cobble Fish is open, weather permitting, Sunday to Wednesday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Thursday to Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM.

As I strolled along South Street Seaport Pier 16, Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'” played through my ear pods, a fitting tribute the day after his birthday. The staff at Cobble Fish made me feel truly welcome, and the diverse menu offered something for everyone. This summer, a visit to Cobble Fish is a must.
