It’s beginning to look like 24 Karat Gold! Park Terrace Hotel debuts the return of its 24 Karat Golden Kaleidoscope Christmas Tree for the holiday season.
On Wednesday, guests were invited to participate in decorating the Christmas tree in the hotel lobby. The 18-foot Elizabeth Pine real-touch Christmas tree was created in collaboration with Jesse Cooper of Light the Lights. It uses three different sets of lights to bring the vision of creating a captivating kaleidoscope effect to life. The tree also features an abundance of gorgeous ornaments, including a few that read the words “Park” and “Terrace,” which are gold-leafed by hand in 24 karat gold.
After soaking up the tree’s beauty, the festivities continued. Guests were offered a glass of champagne and then invited up to the hotel’s members only club, Branch. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for the holiday season. The club featured both an indoor and covered outdoor space that gave views of Bryant Park.
The bar offered a couple of holiday-themed cocktails, including a cranberry daiquiri garnished with fresh cranberries. Also offered was a trio of hot chocolates provided by Chocolat Moderne. These featured a dark, espresso, and spicy chocolate flavor and were given the option to spike it. They were deliciously rich, and the spicy flavor had a nice subtle kick at the end, which created a nice depth to the beverage. Guests were also given discount codes to enjoy even more hot chocolate.
Lastly, guests were given a preview of the gift-wrapping station in collaboration with London Penny. Hotel guests will be offered a gift wrapping service for free through the holiday season.
