We caught up with Myk Watford who plays “Little Jackie” in the film and he tells us what it was like bringing that time era into the film.
“Well if you’re gonna pull something like that off visually you’ve got to have an incredible artistic team around you. You’ve got to have amazing costumes you’ve got to have an amazing set. You’ve got to have incredible cinematography, an eye for the detail of it,” said Watford on the carpet. “If you don’t do it just right it can be a little bit over the top and I don’t think that anyone is gonna think that about this movie.”
“I think the ladies looked fabulous,” said Pamela Dunlap who plays McCarthy’s mother in the film. “Absolutely spot on for the period but they looked fabulous.” Agreed. They might’ve looked fabulous but their actions may or may not leave you thinking otherwise.
