On The Scene: NYC’s Travel Expo!

There’s nothing better for a lover of adventure than a whole expo dedicated to it!

This weekend, New York City’s iconic Javitz center transformed itself for yet another exciting convention. Lines and lines of booths surrounded the hall, each one having their own set of unique experiences in store for all who came by to see. The Bahamas booth greeted vacationers with cocktails and a special keepsake glass to take home with them,  and this was not the only gift that the convention had to offer. Almost every table had exciting gifts to give, weather that was T-shirts, hats, coffee, special snacks from the different travel destinations, and so much more! There was a stage towards the back of the event that featured lively entertainment where you could learn dances and songs from different cultures!

With the events of the past two years, travel hasn’t been as accessible as it once was, but now with reopening happening everywhere, we can all enjoy a nice vacation! It can be overwhelming to figure out how to go about planning a trip, and where to even start, but I was able to talk to some insightful travel experts on the best travel tips they have! I’m hoping to visit Greece, Japan, Aruba, and so many more.

The event included some incredibly knowledgeable Keynote speakers who shared their insight on all things travel. Guests included Brian Kelly; the founder and CEO of The Points Guy (TPG), Samantha Brown; the host of PBS’s Samantha Brown’s Places to Love, Peter Greenberg; The Emmy Award Winning Investigative reporter, producer and CBS news travel editor, and so many more!

It was thrilling to go booth to booth to hear all about the brilliant places of the world, and I’ve added so many new places to my travel destination bucket list! Hear more about the convention here!
