On Thursday August 15th, MTV Push Live had a show featuring up and coming artists, Kevin George, Souly Had and Snowsa.
The show was held at Chelsea Music Hall which was an intimate venue that made it comfortable for these younger artists to perform their music and be able to engage with the crowd also.
Snowsa a female artist from Connecticut was the first artist to perform. She came out with great energy and caught everyone’s attention as soon as she touched the stage. Opening with her popular song “Yank Riddim,” Snowsa and her dancers had the crowd moving with the couple of songs she performed and high energy. Next to perform was Souly Had from Albany, New York. He was performing with his live band which is impressive for an up and coming artist to be able to do. He performed some of his popular songs such as “Fall Back” and “Crush”. He was performing some songs of his EP B.L.I.S.S. that released on Friday and was very excited for us to hear songs of his new project. The final artist that performed was another artist from Connecticut known as Kevin George. George has worked with Gunna and has been consistently putting out music and sticking to his sound. He performed songs, “Last Night I Lost My Reason” and “Off the Wall” from his recent album My Darlings a Demon. He also brought out Chandler Elyse to perform their collaborative song “Dead Ends”.
Snowsa, Souly Had and Kevin George put on a great show for the crowd that was in attendance and were able to introduce themselves to people that might not have been familiar with them. MTV gave these up and coming artists a great platform to showcase their craft and all three artists took advantage of this opportunity and we’re excited to see what’s next for them.
