Earlier this week Lauryn Hill shut down Times Square as she serenaded guests at the new Paradise Club at the Time Square Edition.
In celebration of the Time Square Edition’s newly created Paradise Club, the venue’s opening week featured a different combination of talent each night. The newly renovated 7th floor of the Time Square Edition, now known as Paradise Club, featured live performances and sets by the legendary Lauryn Hill and Run DMC’s Rev Run and DJ Ruckus. Guests were greeted by gorgeous cabaret dancers and complimentary champagne as they entered the walkway leading to the fabulous club. Inside, the darkroom was illuminated by piercing red light which highlighted the beautiful scenery on the walls. The night was filled with special guests and influencers like cast members from Orange is The New Black and many more.
The iconic Lauryn Hill arrived fashionably late in a jaw-dropping red feathery fit paired with an elegant black hat. Ms. Hill performed two of her most legendary hits like “Killing Me Softly With His Song” and “Final Hour” amongst others. Guests anxiously awaited Lauryn’s arrival, followed by a legendary performance by Rev Run and DJ Ruckus. Following night performances included artists and DJs such as Questlove, Charlie XCX and Q-Tip. Check out the Paradise Club now open!
