On the Scene: ECOLUXE RockNRolla Movie & Music Awards Lounge

On Friday, June 3rd, Debbie Durkin’s ECOLUXE Rock ’N Rolla Lounge kicked off Summer 2022 with an event in honor of the MTV Movie & TV Awards and Pride month.

The Knockturnal was on the scene at the amazing event and got the chance to speak with all the featured booths. The covid-safe walk-thru event was held at the historic mountain palace, voted the most romantic restaurant in Los Angeles, Yamashiro Hollywood on the weekend of the awards show. Yamashiro’s Executive Chef Vallerie Archer served up an amazing array of sushi and Pan-Asian foods. The event was hosted outdoors in Yamashiro’s Garden courtyard and indoors in the Skyview lounge. Attendees were entertained by DJ William Reed who spun a mix of summer-themes tunes and a live acoustic performance by singer/songwriter Natalie Alava.

The event featured a media lounge by KNEKT TV which filmed and live streamed this event as a worldwide TV Special. Producer Kent Speakman and Host BJ interviewed all talent on site. This year’s event was a fundraiser benefiting the Ukrainian Cultural Center of LA supporting the people of Ukraine @ukrainianculturecenterla.

Attendees including MTV nominated show Dancing with the Stars’ Gleb Savchenko, “Dance Moms” Melissa Gisoni, Emmy winner Terrence Terell, Emmy Nominee Gregory Zarian, “Teen Mom” and NY Times Best-Selling Author Farrah Abrham, and more! Guests enjoyed and were given an array of luxury trips, Ledvance lighting for their homes, complimentary skincare and wellness products, chocolates, wine, tequila and more. LEDVANCE offered select celebrities the opportunity to upgrade the lighting in their homes. For all attendees, gifting modern and energy-efficient LED lighting(Sylvania) smart lighting products that you can control via smartphone or voice, stylish and functional LED luminaires.

Royal Keepers Products- Antoinette Fields Gifted all natural, healing hair & skin products. When we spoke to Antoinette she told us about her all natural body butters and oils. Her products use no alcohol, are scented with essential oils, and are all natural. The Royal Keepers Products are healing for skin and hair with tons of great scents and smells.  All of her oils and butters are also great for all skin types.

LeBae.com gifted Wellness Shots, IV Glow Therapy and mini-facials on site to select guests. When we spoke to LeBae they told us about their at home concierge service where they offer tons of services including IV, skincare facials, botox, and much more. They also offer services at big events.

Rachel Heller The Self Care Mask Gifted a select amount of self care products. Rachel talked to us a bit about her self-care mask which is a 5 in 1 device that helps improve your skin.

Endangered Species Chocolate– gifted chocolate to all attendees.

Casa Luigi Prosecco– gifted Premium Sparkling Italian wine in a can for Summer fun! They talked to us a bit about their product and how it’s an Italian sparkling wine. The inspiration behind the product came when the creators wanted to have a prosecco in a can. Casa Luigi Prosecco is the first canned prosecco in the U.S. and offers five different flavors. The product even includes an easter egg of the creator’s dog Luigi on the back of the can, who the prosecco is named after.

 Dulce Vida Organic Tequila– hosted tequila tastings and gifted talent with complimentary bottles. They talked to us a bit about the product which is USDA organic and created in Jalisco, Mexico. The brand is based out of Texas and is 70 proof infused with fruit with no added sugar and preservatives.

Kimberlicious Kouture Beauty gifted beauty boxes featuring THC INDICA INFUSED dessert-themed ice cream body butters made with Shea and mango and coconut and Kokum based on characters from her animated princess television network. Kimberly spoke to us about what makes her brand unique. She created a personal care brand for children like is great for all skin types and people. The soufflé like product, is eco friendly and made fun for kids. Her brand also features hair balms, face washes, perfumes, and much more. Kimberly also spoke to us a bit about how she is a veteran that suffers with PTSD which was the inspiration behind her adult THC infused skincare products to allow for a full body relaxation.
