On the Scene: Crosby Street Collective

The streets of Soho were buzzing this past Thursday evening, as Crosby Street Collective celebrated the launch of their Holiday Pop Up.

This iteration of their iconic Pop-Up featured a select group of innovative men’s apparel and accessory brands including Faculty, Ritter Apparel, North & Mark, Stuart & Lau and Stryx. All of these brands emphasize Crosby’ Street Collective’s manta of “design with a purpose”. The festive gathering provided attendees with the opportunity to interact with the founders of these cutting-edge men’s brands.

I had the chance to chat with Zach Jonas, founder of Ritter Apparel, regarding what led him to start a company focusing on sustainable menswear. “We started with the Ritter vest because we’re trying to solve the vest epidemic. We thought we could make it a little bit more polished by using sustainable fabrics such as alpaca and merino wool.”

Crosby’s Holiday Pop-Up currently offers a selection of items exclusive to their store. Crosby Street Collective is located a 119 Crosby St and is open 7 days a week from 12-7 PM.
