Seated, the lights began to dim. Suddenly you heard Woody from Toy Story on the mic… or wait… no. Technically, that was EP, Tom Hanks. Hanks and Spielberg briefly discussed how Masters of the Air came to fruition after continued inspiration via Band of Brothers. Spielberg also credited his father for his latest project.
Hanks introduced the audience to several of the audience members and their family members who inspired the stories of the men portrayed on screen… the audience erupted with applause and stood on their feet to thank the men and their families for their service and sacrifice.

The series is action-packed, emotional, and riveting… not to mention the all-star cast. It is a must-see. (And I would highly recommend a projector. I will feel completely cheated watching the rest of the series on a television vs. a large movie theatre screen! WOW!)
Masters of the Air officially premieres on January 26, 2024, on AppleTV+. Subscription required.
