ON THE SCENE: 6000TH show celebration with the millionaires’ magician, Steve Cohen

“On October 6, 2023 I had the immense honor of accomplishing a rare feat in show business – Chamber Magic’s 6000th performance in NYC, the most competitive theater city in the world. Thank you to friends, fellow magicians, and Chamber Magic fans far and wide for celebrating with me!”-Steve

Steve Cohen, renowned as “The Millionaires’ Magician,” has captivated audiences globally, including celebrities, sports icons, and royalty, with his mesmerizing interactive magic. His 90-minute show offers a unique, sophisticated evening of entertainment that’s unparalleled in the city. Attendees are encouraged to wear cocktail attire, elevating the already opulent ambiance and enhancing the overall experience.

The Lotte New York Palace offers the perfect setting for a show of this caliber. The chandeliers, the opulent ceilings, walls, and overall backdrop is what adds to the magic of the entire performance. (At one point, the setting plays a huge role in one of Steve’s tricks too, prepare to be amazed).

“After the show, the Lotte New York Palace hosted a reception for all attendees, serving a new cocktail named in my honor: the “Think-a-Drink.” It is now offered on the menu every Friday and Saturday night in the hotel lobby bar, Trouble’s Trust. The cocktail is tasty yet potent, incorporating Bulleit Bourbon, Nolet Silver Gin, Earl Grey syrup, Creme de Violet, fresh blackberries, and a sprig of rosemary. Best of all, waiters serve “Think-a-Drink” from teakettles just like mine!” – pulled from Steve’s blog.

Steve has received great accolades from publications like Variety saying, “Bursts of joy and amazement” and the NY Daily News who said, “The city’s master magician” and they are all spot on, get ready to witness miracles up close and personal.
