On The Scene: FANATICS’ Star Studded Super Bowl Event

The eve of Super Bowl 50 kicked off with a bang as Fanatics, the market leader of authentic officially licensed sports merchandise, threw a swanky fiesta at the club 25 Lusk in San Francisco. The event was attended by a plethora of icons and stars such as : retired NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, rapper Wiz Khalifa, retired NFL legend Dan Marino, Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, among many others.

The venue provided Super Bowl 50 themed cocktails including a tequila concoction aptly named “Fifty Yard Line.” The other half of the specialized drink menu was a vodka mix named “Nifty Fifty.” Sliders and lobster rolls were just the tip of the iceberg among the endless appetizers and finger food provided by Fanatics. The Big Game party was filled to the brim with exquisite cuisine and tasty drinks.

Attendee Wiz Khalifa, after smoking a blunt on the red carpet itself, performed a medley of his hit songs for the intimate yet packed crowd at 25 Lusk. Khalifa performed “Young, Wild and Free,” “See You Again,” as well as his seminal banger, “Black and Yellow.” The atmosphere of the venue was already flourishing with high energy and Khalifa’s performance only served to increase the overall camaraderie of the partygoers and celebrities in attendance.

Many NFL figures, past and present, were on hand to mingle with the fans and party along with them in The City. Current Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan walked the red carpet as well as Cleveland Browns hall of fame running back Jim Brown. “The Bus” was also on hand, Jerome Bettis walked the red carpet wearing his own Super Bowl ring and even showed it to reporters working the carpet. Overall the event was incredible and Fanatics certainly made a great case for them knowing how to throw a party in the Golden State.
