New York Fashion Week is notorious for their runway to street staple pieces. In this year’s Nolcha Shows, Yu Lang by Lang Yu created a line especially for the day to day woman.
With his expressive take on geometric shapes, Yu Lang by Lang Yu intertwines classic elegance with angular dimensionality.
Satin blue was the signature color and fabric throughout his line. Yu Lang by Lang Yu incorporated various textures ranging from grand white furs to reflective bubblegum pink moto jackets.
The Spring/Summer collection translated understated elegance, within the 21st century. Lang Yu’s line included the minimalistic trend that dominated this year’s NYFW. His use of one singular color palette, with staunch and pristine lines catapulted Lang Yu into a fashion sphere all of his own.
Lang Yu has been known for his conceptual and playful use of shapes as the platform for his fashion line, and needless to say, he did not disappoint this year. The Yu Lang collection transformed quirky into fashion forward all on one runway.
The use of textiles and fabrics softly transitioned Lang Yu’s pieces from summer to fall, effortlessly. Yet, it was his ingenious use of shapes and angles that set the Yu Lang collection apart from other runways featured in this years NYFW.
