Maiden Noir Presents Fall 2017 Collection

Maiden Noir premiered their Fall/Winter 2017 collection at NYFW on at Dune Studios.

The theme of the show was called “Traces of Warm Light,” which was reflected in the clothing and in the mise en scène of the show. The models were standing in front of monochrome flats in pastel colors – which matched the clothing’s subtle colors for the season.

Popular this season were updated basics, such as hoodies, button downs, cardigans and bomber jackets. One outfit had a dark red silk bomber jacket, slightly oversized gray pants that hit above the ankle, and a simple black t-shirt. Another highlight was a camel coat with a fur stole, grey button down underneath, and tan pants that again hit above the ankle. The overall effect was normcore taken to the next level, hitting the balance between casual streetstyle and dressy. Another look was a snakeskin patterned bomber jacket with matching slacks, and a pale green button-down underneath. Simple, yet high concept.
