Ladies and Gentleman grab your drinks and let me introduce you to Full Pour Magazine. Full Pour is a fabulous new publication for beverage enthusiasts to endure in drink culture, through a public media and growing community. Launched by Lauren Buzzeo in March 2023, a month later her dream came to life.
On April 4th 2023, Full Pour’s launch took the industry by storm, creating a unique Indie magazine to promote wines, beer, liquors we all know and love, and bring a positive outlook into those who indulge themselves in the beverage industry. Fellow drinkers are called to enjoy the colorful pages of what Full Pour has to offer; a unique source of information showcased to help those navigate and explore cocktail recipes, new beverages, and more. When speaking with editor and founder of Full Pour, Lauren Buzzeo, she stated that she wanted Full Pour to encourage those to celebrate the culture of alcoholic beverages and bring everyone together in a safe and responsible, yet allow people to explore with the proper information to do so. Full Pour is specifically made for beverage enthusiast, so who better than to learn from then the best! Authenticity and passion for sharing beverage information and the diverse cultures that surround drinks history, production and consumption drives every story published, with the aim to inspire new consideration, awareness, acceptance and conversation across all drink categories, for all people.
The event was located in Williamsburg, New York at the most amazing location with beautiful sunlight. When I arrived, I checked in and among my surprise, was greeted with a customized wine glass that I can use throughout the event. I was taken around Rome and France by the best wine tasting I’ve had in a while; the host was friendly and definitely gave everyone a cute buzz to start. Next station was Samuel Adams light beer tasting; they had a bunch of RTD cans, as well as, summer ales that are crisp and refreshing for those summer days and nights. My next stop was this huge charcuterie board to regain momentum for my next station, Happi. This was my favorite and most unique of the beverage tasting that the event had. Happi is a THC Cannabis infused seltzer that is vegan and has a low dosage of THC. Happi is for those who want to have a little buzz in a cute and discreet can that you can bring anywhere. Cannabis is another very common social activity that is quite controversial, cannabis went from a hush hush activity to having dispensaries and it legalized in multiple states in the country. Happi decided to be for consumers who are curious about cannabis but don’t want to dive all the way to the deep yet quite yet; the low dosage is great for experimentation and not overwhelming, this is perfect for summertime as well. A cannabis infused dream instantly made me think of the dank smell it might have, but to my surprise the flavor masks the taste of cannabis incredibly. My next and last two stops of the night were the photo booth, and giant coloring wall; what is a better combination than alcohol and coloring?! The coloring paper wall and the whole issue of Full Pour magazine is made from 100% recycled materials with non toxic dies and materials. This shows the integrity of the magazine and Lauren of what she truly stands for as an founder and person. Authenticity is shown throughout the launch, event and each member and guest that attend the event, its a great community of beverage companies, enthusiasts, and individuals who want to showcase what they truly stand for in the sake of creating something so beautiful. In this constantly progressive world, Full Pour has created something where individuals can feel seen, safe and encouraged to partake in any beverages that they want to and feel not judged or limited in any way; they want their consumers to embrace everything that comes with this culture and thrive.
Full Pour magazine is progressive in its own unique way, they opened up a field of enjoyment for beverage enthusiasts, who never had an outlet like this before, to be able to share and express all the knowledge, tips & tricks, recipes, bars, and alcohol brands to indulge in. Consumers want the best quality and fun unique ways to drink, therefore having a magazine such like Full Pour at the easiest convince, is a push in the right direction. Congratulations to Lauren and her team and I look forward to what’s to come for Full Pour.
