OUTWILD – EVERBRIGHT DELUXE EP [OPHELIA]

Outwild is a dynamically versatile dance music mainstay who’s been crafting his own unique original productions for over five years.  Known for quite some time by his previous Inukshuk moniker, the Canadian native’s recent name change directly follows his set from Seven Lions’ ‘Visions 4’ Twitch livestream event. The deluxe edition of the ‘Everbright’ EP is a tour-de-force of sound that serves as a prime addition to Seven Lions‘ Ophelia Records’ imprint, and features remixes from up-and-coming producers VaanceN3WPORTMiles Away, and AWAKEND. It marks an exciting start for a new crop of rising talent, in addition to a new beginning for the DJ/producer Outwild.

EQUANIMOUS – MERGING ELEMENTS [GRAVITAS]

Producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Equanimous brings his 9-track debut album from the dance floor to listening ears worldwide. Known for his previous collaborations with The Polish Ambassador, Momentology, Activation, and more, Equanimous breaks free to deliver a unique project that aims to showcase a snippet of the inner workings of his mind. Merging Elements is a heart-centered adventure whose inhabitant exists between bliss and bass. Through 11 collaborations, Equanimous presents an ecstatic, auditory journey full of rhythmic vibrations, beautiful melodies, and organic sounds.

NYA BLOOM – EXHALE EP

A musical project calling on the masses comes to a head in Exhale, the full release of Nya Bloom’s 4-part debut EP. In hopes of enacting serious change, Nya Bloom created his Declaration of Unity for a world in crisis amidst a pandemic, economic shutdown, political and civil unrest, natural disasters, and more. It’s time to unite, and stop pointing fingers in blame. It’s time for a new global conversation: one that addresses the actual issues and is focused and designed to bolster unity and respect instead of competition. Now more than ever, we need to take matters into our own hands. Exploring motifs of love, loss, and ultimate acceptance, finding respite in breath is the key to a full exhale.

AT HOME WITH THE KIDS [ATLANTIC]

Atlantic Records teamed up with genre-spanning music all-stars including the likes of Portugal. The Man, Sia, Chromeo, Tove Lo, Christina Perri, and many more to release a children’s music benefit compilation. In addition to 23 classic children’s songs, lullabies, and family favorites performed by an amazing lineup of music’s hottest artists, the album also includes two exclusive tracks, ‘Giants’ by Matt Maeson and gnash‘s ‘night night’. 100% of the Atlantic Records net proceeds from AT HOME WITH THE KIDS will benefit Save the Children, an organization helping better the lives of children across the globe by providing them with a healthy start, an opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

SACRE – 11:00PM BECOME HUMAN (JACKLNDN REMIX)

Emotive deep house producer jackLNDN delivers his breezy remix for Pharell-approved French duo SACRE‘s “11:00PM BECOME HUMAN”. When asked about his thoughts on being put on remix duty for the duo, Jack said, “There are so many wonderful features in the stems I ended up taking way more from the original parts than I usually do. Beautiful organ chords, an eclectic synth pallet & wonderfully obscure yet beautiful sounds …they really gave me the perfect setup to do what I love and I am so glad how my interpretation turned out. It just makes me feel happy.

DIRTYSNATCHA & MATT DOE – MORE THAN THIS [SUBSIDIA]

DirtySnatcha is back once again this month with ‘More Than This’, a collaborative track released alongside Canadian dubstep DJ/producer Matt Doe, featuring the vocal talent of U.K.-based singer/songwriter Katie Sky. The U.K. dubstep legend is known for blending riddim and trap into his bass-laden work, and ‘More Than This’ is no exception to the rule.  The oscillating basslines, propelling beat, and infectious melody are all quintessential hallmarks of what’s sure to be another prime addition to Excision’s brand new imprint.
