NBC’s ‘Perfect Harmony’ Makes a Great Melody

NBC launches its new fall lineup, headlined by choir comedy “Perfect Harmony.” Emmy Award-winning actor Bradley Whitford stars as Arthur Cochran, a retired Princeton music professor who finds himself leading a small-town church choir. “Pitch Perfect” alum Anna Camp co-stars, with Whitford also executive producing.

Whitford’s talented turns in “West Wing,” “Handmaid’s Tale,” “Transparent,” and “NYPD Blue” prove his dramatic television appeal, yet his guest roles in “Mom,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and “Happyish” give way to his innate comedic chops.

“Perfect Harmony” is placed in the coveted Thursday night primetime slot for NBC, no doubt indicating its expected appeal. The charming show truly is an ensemble production, and brings heart to a soon-to-be classic family comedy.

“Perfect Harmony” premieres Thursday, September 26th at 8:30pm.
