The founders of Mr. Baldwin Style announced the release of their first book Grooms: A Professional Stylist’s Guide to Wedding Day Apparel For Every Budget.
“The following pages will help you think beyond a rented tux by giving you permission to be fashionable and think outside the box. This book will help you define your personal style while teaching you how to customize it to the style of your wedding.” Wedding designer Steve Moore makes a bold claim about what Grooms can do for future husbands in the foreword of the book.
The duo, married couple Donnell Baldwin and Courtney Arrington-Baldwin aimed to write the go-to guide for grooms to take more care in what they wear on the wedding day. In a statement Donnel said, “Through this book, we want to inspire men to get excited about their look(s) for the big day and help guide them in the planning and execution of it, all while considering what will best complement their partner and wedding style.” The book will be released on Dec. 8 and is now available for preorder on the Mr. Baldwin Style website, Amazon and other specialty retailers.
Grooms features style guides separated by themes including “The Classic Groom Remixed,” “The Rustic Groom,” “The Holiday Groom” and more. The book also includes 150 photos styled by the duo and shot by wedding and fashion photographer Alea Lovely to help grooms visualize their look.
They also touch upon how to consider the venue, location and budget with sections focused on getting your look on a budget and styling the details of your outfit.
Mr. Baldwin Style’s accessory line The Tie Bar will celebrate the launch with a book signing on Dec. 12. The signing will take place at their new pop-up shop on Bleecker Street in New York City.
