Missoni announced the launch of their first ever fragrance, Missoni Eau de Parfum.
The fragrance will be sensual with a strong focus on femininity, reflected in the accompanying commercial and advertisements. The notes of the scents aim to relate to the women who are attracted the put together and unique look of Missoni’s designs.
Creative Director Angela Missoni was inspired by Venetian blown glass for the bottle of the perfume. The result is a glass bottle with colors of fushia, purple and green seemingly melted together.
Missoni chose Oscar Winner Paolo Sorrentino to direct the commercial starring Elisa Sednaoui, the face of the new fragrance. Sednaoui will be the only color in a sea of gray amongst the cast wearing an iconic Missoni dress in the video. Once she sprays herself with the perfume she will gain the confidence to have fun dancing sensual carefree way.
The fragrance is set to launch in mid-November first in Italy. Following the launch it will be available at Harrods in London on the Nov. 22 and available to the rest of the world in 2016.
