Drive Your Cravings to the MAX at the Meyers Manx Cafe

On a visit to the Meyers Manx Cafe, at 6060 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, The Knockturnal eagerly drove into their brunch offerings.

Housed within the Petersen Automotive Museum, the cafe drives you in the bygone era of old LA. The interior is adorned with shades of green, creating a cozy and rustic ambiance from the moment you step in. Brunch is available on weekends, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During our visit, we indulged in both the brunch menu and the default menu.

For those interested in their hours and specials, Meyers Manx Cafe hosts a Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring a 25 percent discount on their food menu, a $2 reduction on signature cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as $8 well drinks.

Now, let’s rev up our exploration with a closer look at the drinks available on their brunch menu!

Ube / Strawberry Cold Foam Matcha

Commencing with their Cold Foam Matcha, which is available with either Strawberry cold foam or Ube cold foam (containing dairy). This beverage is crafted using Hikari Ceremonial Grade Matcha and their in-house cold foams, making it an ideal choice to initiate your meal with a touch of sweetness. To fully savor the blend of flavors, it’s advisable to request a straw for stirring. Among the milk alternatives offered for this drink, we opted for oat milk.

Mango Black Iced Tea

Switching lanes to a fruit-forward option, we have the Mango Black Iced Tea. This beverage is accompanied by a dehydrated mango slice and crafted using their in-house mango syrup. It strikes an ideal balance between refreshment and sweetness, earning it the title of my favorite drink of the day!

Shifting gears into the food!

Cinnamon French Toast Sticks

This sweet treat is super fluffy on the inside while cinnamon-y and crunchy outside. It is accompanied by Vermont Maple Syrup on the side, intensifying the sweetness, and is complemented by blueberries and strawberries to create a balance between sugar and fruit.

Their main burger on the menu, the Manx Burger. It features a house-blend patty consisting of Chuck, Brisket, and Short Rib, generously adorned with sharp cheddar cheese, onion, tomato, and their signature Turbo sauce, all enclosed within a brioche bun. A simple and classic burger with smokey and salty flavors that case your tongue, even after you take a sip of water!
