Megan Thee Stallion holds a bustling album release party in NYC

This past Monday in NYC, the Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion held one of her famous “Hottie Parties.”

The event was held in partnership with Tidal to celebrate the release of her latest EP “Suga.” This last year, Megan has without a doubt made her mark in hip hop, with her clever lyricism and hilarious social media presence. The “Hot Girl Summer” movement that she created this past summer completely took over 2019, and it seems that her influence really knows no bounds. This was made especially clear from Monday night’s attendance levels. Fans were able to sign up online to get an invite, and the turnout was enormous. People were lined up around the block of Public Arts in NY just to get the chance to see Megan in person.

Meanwhile, inside the event, it wouldn’t be a Megan Thee Stallion party without one of her go-to liquors involved. Luckily there was D’USSE on deck to make sure the attendees were properly hydrated. The Cognac brand was also an event sponsor, so guests were treated to specialty “Megan”’ themed cocktails, along with album-art themed desserts right in tune with the “Suga” celebration.

Later on in the night, Megan even came out to serve shots straight up to fans, who were more than happy to receive. It seems that right now, no one is more familiar and in-tune with their support base than Megan Thee Stallion. Her Hottie Party Monday night was a great example of her “lit best friend” image that has captured fans around the world and secured her position as a success.

“Suga” is available on all streaming platforms now
