Last Friday, the newest edition to the luxury Edition Hotel chain hosted famed producer Mark Ronson and celebrated hip hop legend Q-Tip The Abstract in a night of disco, hip hop, and dancing. By the time the doors opened at 11:30, there was already a line out the door of club goers vying to secure a solid dancing spot for the night. It is clear immediately that The Paradise Club is a relatively new addition to the area- as the crowd was almost indiscernible from a NYFW after party.
The Paradise Club- programmed by House of Yes, is a cozy space- unlike many other club chains around the city. The elongated stage that doubles as a dance floor reaches out to the crowd, and the 10’ projector engulfs you in its sweeping visuals.
Many fans throughout the night enjoyed an eye to eye view of Ronson and Q-Tip by showing off their moves on the raised dance floor. Others kept it relaxed and enjoyed the cabaret dancers at their tables, soaking in the new tracks by Ronson featuring Lykki Li, Camila Cabello, and King Princess.
