Many Celebrities Came Out in Support of the Fight Against Blood Cancer

Delete Blood Cancer DKMS hosted their 11th glamorous and star-studded gala to raise money to fund additional efforts to the registration of lifesaving bone marrow donors.
Katharina Harf, co-founder of Delete Blood Cancer DKMS, hosted the night’s festivities at Cipriani Wall Street. The gala honored Claudia D’Arprizio philanthropist and Partner at Pain and Company, for her continued support and dedication to removing blood cancer.

To illustrate the grace and elegance of the night hip-hop ballerina, Ebony Williams, performed a moving dedication inspired by the cause. Special presentations by Rita Ora with guest performances by DJ Mick emphasized the celebrations and fundraising to fight blood cancer.

DKMS ambassadors Coco Rocha, Swizz Beatz, and Anastasia Ganias dressed to impress as they celebrated the night of the gala’s 11th year and DKMS’s 26th anniversary to their mission and dedication to continually increase the number of suitable bone marrow donors across the globe.

Jordan Smith, singer and 2015 The Voice contestant, ended the evening with moving renditions of “Chandelier”, “Over the Rainbow”, and “Somebody to Love”.

DKMS was originally founded in Germany in 1991 by Dr. Peter Harf. It has organizations in Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
