Grand Slam Gathering: M Social Hotel Hosts US Open Happy Hour with Tennis Stars

Celebrate the US Open with a friendly game of pickleball with Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Lorenzo Sonego.

The US Open is in full swing this week. To celebrate the opening of one of the biggest tennis events in the country, M Social Hotel in Times Square hosted an intimate happy hour last Friday for hotel guests and tennis fans alike. The event took place at The Beast and Butterflies section of M Social Hotel where they converted part of their 7500 square-foot private rooftops into a pickleball court for guests to try out their skills, all while sipping on Grey Goose cocktails.

And to make things even better, the M Social Hotel invited two of the US Open’s greatest players to play: Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Lorenzo Sonego. When the two players arrived, guests could play a round of pickleball with the superstars and put their skills to the test. The two tennis stars played multiple rounds with guests attending the event. Later on in the evening, both Fokina and Sonego went around to guests and signed tennis balls for guests to take home as souvenirs.

Once the two tennis stars finished mingling with guests, attendees of the event could mingle and drink more of the Grey Goose cocktails while enjoying the amazing end-of-summer weather accompanied by incredible views. This rooftop space is one-of-a-kind where rooftop guests have an incredible view of Times Square from the distance. The rooftop is located seven stories above the New York City streets and has amazing views of the Times Square billboards, pedestrians trekking the streets, and during the evening the rooftop guests can take in all the incredible lights from the rooftop. The M Social Hotel rooftop space has a direct view of the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop where guests can comfortably count down the seconds before the new year rolls in. It’s safe to say that this became such a memorable night for the players and guests alike!
