Lower East Side Film Festival Announces Winners

The night of June 16 was quite exciting!

The Lower East Side Film Festival announced their 2016 winners at its Closing Night Party. The winners were chosen by Oscar nominated actor Ethan Hawke, casting director and producer Cindy Tolan, Steve Farneth and Raul Castillo.

The festival included films from all categories including Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Short Film, The LESFF Neighborhood Award, Best of Fest-The L.E.S. Prix D’Or and more.

Some of the big winners of the night were Art of the Prank, written and directed by Andrea Marini who won the Best of Fest award and The Babymooners, written and directed by Shaina Feinberg and Chris Manley who won The LESFF Audience Award.
