‘Long Day’s Journey Into Night’ Comes to the Roundabout Theatre Company

A star-studded cast is headed to Broadway!

The Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Ryan Murphy is proud to present Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night, directed by Jonathan Kent as part of the theater’s 50th anniversary season.

The play will feature Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange as “Mary Cavan Tyrone,” Golden Globe winner and Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne as “James Tyrone,” Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon as “James Tyrone Jr.” and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as “Edmund Tyrone.”

Long Day’s Journey Into Night is the tale of an ordinary summer’s day with extraordinary consequences. It draws so heavily from the author’s personal history that it could only be produced posthumously. The play tells the story of the Tyrone family and their battle to unearth and conceal a lifetime of secrets that continue to unveil themselves. This play is said to be one of the most profound and powerful plays ever brought to the stage.

Long Day’s Journey Into Night begins preview performances on Sunday, April 3, 2016 and officially opens on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. The performance schedule includes Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7pm, with matinees on Wednesday and Sunday at 2pm and Saturday at 1pm.

The show is only available to see through Sunday, June 26, 2016 on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.

Tickets are available on the Roundabout Theatre website or you can call their ticket office  212.719.1300
