Little Dume Partners with Global Citizen for #VaxBecause Campaign

Little Dume, the four-piece band from Malibu California and responsible for hit songs “Dangerous Man”, “Curious”, “Waking Up”, “Halo”, have partnered with Global Citizen and their #VaxBecause campaign.

Little Dume’s exclusive single “Human” will be featured in Global Citizen’s social media campaign, like the Augmented Reality (AR) filter on Instagram for #VaxBecause.  The campaign focuses on inspiring action to eliminate global COVID-19 vaccine distribution inequity and to raise general awareness about the vaccine. As Little Dume supports numerous charities dealing with human rights/equality, mental health issues, and climate change, they have been big fans of Global Citizen and their message of global equity.  “We are honored to release our new track in cooperation with Global Citizen who we’ve been huge fans of for years,” said vocalist Frank, “Our song was heavily influenced by their important work and message of equity. Every human is equal and deserves access to the vaccine.” Hugh Evans, CEO of Global Citizen, said, “Overcoming vaccine hesitancy is a critical part of ending the pandemic and we are grateful for the support Little Dume is giving to the #VaxBecause campaign to encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as it’s available to them. The message in ‘Human’ is centered on the fact that we are all connected. If we are to overcome this virus, we will need to work together to ensure vaccines are available to everyone, everywhere.”

The campaign also supports “VAX LIVE: A CONCERT TO REUNITE THE WORLD”.  The concert, with an audience comprised of frontline healthcare and essential workers, will air on May 8th on ABC, CBS, FOX, YouTube, and iHeartMedia from the SoFi Stadium in California.  Hosted by Selena Gomez, the features showcase performances from many artists including Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and H.E.R.  The concert will also have appearances by President Biden, First Lady Dr. Biden, Vice President Harris, Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, Sean Penn, as well as a global message from Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
