Last week Lil Yachty gave an intimate NYFW performance thanks to Reebok!
Hosted in New York’s Navy Piers, the global fitness and lifestyle brand, Reebok, hosted a private Q&A with Lil Yachty, Kodie Shane, Rox Brown and Original Fani. The night included a performance by Yachty, fashion curation by Rox Brown and a dance performance by Atlanta’s own Meechie and Toosi.
Rox Brown and Lil Yachty spoke about their first encounters, their growing style relationship and how they put together looks. Yachty reminisced about the first time he met Rox and how they didn’t get off to the best start, but that their relationship eventually grew. Rox explained how there is always a lot of dialogue and discussion between her and Yachty when she puts together looks for him, and how it’s a collaborative effort. Yachty also mentioned that he never intentionally tries to stand out or be off-the-wall with his looks, he simply gravitates to what appeals to him and that comfort is always the priority as having fun and performing come before anything else. Yachty was wearing Reebok’s all-new signature workout plus sneaker, paired nicely with all white fit consisting of white mesh joggers, plain white tee, and white patterned puffy jacket.
Post panel and Q&A, Yachty took to the Reebok stage to perform and killed his set. Members from the sailing team, like Kodie Shane, made appearances on stage as well. Other notable guests from the evening included Luka Sabbat, the Clermont Twins, Remy Ma and many more!
