The new film, “Lights Out,” coming to screens February 16, will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This fast-paced movie consists of many stars including Frank Grillo, Mekhi Phifer, and Erica Peeples along with many others. The story revolves around an ex-con and a war veteran befriending each other as they try to readjust to society. Mekhi Phifer (Max Bomer) says this movie is one to enjoy.

“It’s an entertaining film. You don’t have to think too hard. You go in there, you [have] your popcorn, your soda, your water… and you can just be entertained.”

The duo involves themselves in underground fight clubs run by the corrupt police department during the film. They used the fights as a way to earn an income as well as find an outlet for past traumas. But, as the fights go on, the more deadly the fights become.
