LifeNome Inc. and CookUnity to deliver world’s first DNA-Based Healthy Meal Delivery Service

Have you ever dreamt of a personalized health-based food delivery service? LifeNome Inc. and CookUnity are making that dream come true. They’re partnering together to launch the world’s first DNA-based personalized healthy meal delivery.

CookUnity is a NY-based service that already delivers meals with farm-fresh ingredients. Their new service with LifeNome is offering more personalized meals for their users.

“While everything around us has become more personal and quantifiable, people still approach nutrition with a one-size-fits-all mentality,” says Sindhya Valloppilli, LifeNome’s Head of Innovation & Marketing.

Because of this, LifeNome is offering a fully personalized menu from CookUnity’s “Healthy and Tasty food by Independent Chefs” available in the New York metropolitan area.

“We decided to partner with LifeNome because it and CookUnity are a match made in heaven,” says Mateo Marietti, Co-Founder & CEO of Cook Unity. “We share the same values.”

LifeNome gathers data using Ancestry.com, Helix, and 23andMe, among other DNA services after an account is created. It then provide each users specific information in regards to the individuals DNA and genetic characteristics and matches their nutritional needs to the healthy meals they can deliver.

“Together we offer a complete personalized nutrition solution for people who want to harness the transformative power of food to improve their lives.” says Ali Mostashari, Ph.D. the Co-founder and CEO of LifeNome.

Each user will get personalized weekly plans and meals delivered right to their door.

The service will be available early April 2017, but customers can pre-register for the service on the LifeNome or CookUnity websites.
