Justin Timberlake’s AfterMaster Launched First Product on Kickstarter

Justin Timberlake and AfterMaster have launched a Kickstarter for their first commercial product the AfterMaster TV Box.

The AfterMaster TV Box allows customers to enjoy content on their television with minimum volume adjustment when switching between programs due to inconsistencies in the quality and distortion of sound. This problem is created by shrink in size of speakers as television get thinner.

The box will be able to be used with a simple HDMI or satellite box, gaming consoles such as the PS4 and XBox as well as streaming devices like Apple TV and Roku. AfterMaster also aims to improve the sounds of television speakers making everything clearer and louder. The TV Box will is also said to create a “fuller” sound most small speakers can not create. The box is roughly the size of an iPhone.

Anyone can make a donation on their Kickstarter page from now until Dec. 20. One of the pledges includes a “Day in the studio” with producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.  The audio tech company is owned by Timberlake, Jerkins and producers Shelley Yakus, and Larry Ryckman.

The project currently is at $127,820 of their $200,000 goal on Kickstarter. The list of pledges and a video detailing everything about the AfterMaster TV Box on their Kickstarter page.
