Jeff Koons’ Diamond (Blue) Collaboration Launch With Bernardaud In NYC!

All the art enthusiasts entered into Koons’ magical world at Bernardaud’s location on Park Avenue.

Koons’ artwork titled Diamond, which was featured in his Celebration series from 1994, was on full display on Bernardaud’s lovely and elegant white porcelain plates with gold detailing.

150 of Koons’ fans lined up and waited patiently with champagne in hand for the priceless moment that the wonderful night offered – a picture that was drawn by Koons one-by-one on site.

The artist drew a detailed circular graphic with a gold marker and personalized each guest’s envelope by writing out their name. Koons’ smile was radiant as he had a presence full of joy and enthusiasm when he greeted everyone.

Receiving the treasured piece was a surreal souvenir to hold in my hands and one that I personally will be framing. VIP guests and art collectors marveled at the gracious presence of Koons as they carefully looked at the detailing of each new artwork.

Featured on the shelving was Koons’ iconic and notorious neon animal balloons, which payed homage to the artist’s previous work as it merged with his present collaboration.

Bernardaud was challenged with the reflective surface, finessing the glaze techniques and refining the surface to create as smooth a surface as possible, making for a porcelain finish. The Diamond (Blue), 2023, is profound and highlights life’s moment of creation,” according to the post-event release.
