JBL Hosts Exclusive Listening Party with Phony Ppl To Launch ‘Pulse 2’ Portable Speaker

On Monday, October 20, The Knockturnal was invited to the Harman Store on Madison Ave. in New York City for their JBL in Studio event.

The store was illuminated in bright colors and decorated with all of their products, featuring Harman Kardon and JBL speakers and headphones of all kind. The store was set up as a lounge and showcased studio setup and exclusive, very expensive headphones made by both JBL and Harman Kardon. There was a full bar as well and the open space allowed guests to mingle. The employees really made all guests feel extremely welcome and answered any questions that anyone may have had.

In the spotlight was the JBL Pulse, a portable Bluetooth speaker. The JBL Pulse is a colorful speaker that lights up along with your music and has features such as multi speaker connections, color matching and gives the user the ability to draw within the lights by using the JBL app that can be found on app stores for Android and iPhone.

The event also featured a special performance by Phony Ppl, a band straight from Brooklyn. In all, we had a great time exploring the store and viewing the performance and would like to thank The Harman Store for the invitation.
