James Whiskey Brings Their Award-Winning Distillery To Hudson Yards

Guests can immerse themselves in one of the oldest whiskey brands in the world

Last week, Jameson Whiskey launched their award-winning distillery in a two week pop up in Hudson Yards, NYC.  Bringing one of the World’s Leading Distillery Tour  is no small feat and to celebrate this momentous occasion, Jameson hosted an opening party at Hudson Yards with a special musical performance.  This distillery tour contains an exciting three-part interactive experience that walks guests through the inception of Jameson Whiskey as well as guiding each person through the science behind Jameson’s whiskey making.  The tour finishes with a classic whiskey tasting where guests were able to sample Jameson’s famous triple distilled whiskey and compare it to other types of spirits which include a double distilled scotch whiskey and a single distilled American whiskey.  And to wrap up the amazing tour, guests can stop by the Jameson Whiskey shop where you can get fun Jameson apparel and much more.

To add to the experience, guests can learn even more about Irish Whiskey by immersing themselves in a Jameson Black Barrel instillation.  This installation and experience is done in a large Jameson branded barrel and guests can enter to feel the heat of the char, smell the notes of vanilla, and taste some of the amazing product as well.  Along with that, visitors will also have the option to taste some of the newest additions to the Jameson portfolio which includes a limited-edition Jameson orange-flavored sorbet which is a fun collaboration with Tipsy Scoop.  This truck will be available for guests to experience through September 7th.

Following the tour, guests were able to hang out in the Jameson Whiskey pop-up cabana where each attendee was able to sample some amazing and innovative Jameson Whiskey cocktails.  And as the night progressed, attendees of the event as well as fans from around the city gathered at the main stage to see the special musical guest, Dermot Kennedy perform.  Dermot was also joined by some amazing talent which helped provide vocal and instrumental accompaniments.  These talents included world-renowned bucket drummer, Jared “Choclatt” Crawford, vocalist and violinist, Joya Bravo, and composer and songwriter, Justin Sutherland.  At the event, Dermot played some of his breakthrough hits as well as previewed a new song from his upcoming album, “Sonder” which releases November 4th.

With limited availability, fans can take advantage of the complimentary Jameson Distillery on Tour through September 7, open daily at the Public Square & Gardens at Hudson Yards. To learn more about the one-of-a-kind experience straight from Dublin’s Bow St. and reserve their spot, fans can visit jamesonwhiskey.com/distillery-on-tour-nyc.
